The Client:Our client wants to change the way customers find and buy their next car. They are a fast-growing start-up in the center of Berlin that strives to redefine the used-car market by explicitly focusing on vehicle, dealer, and service quality.
The Project:
You will be working with their global core team, to help continue the internationalization of their technology platform, in preparation for continued roll-outs into new markets.
Your Job:
Work closely with your Core engineering team, localized tech teams, Product Owners, and designers - as well as senior business stakeholders, to further develop the international tech platform. Create and maintain consumer products and features. Contribute to the team's work with peer reviews and testing.
Work closely with the team and the backend community across other teams to build and scale backend services for their platform
Requirements:
* You are an outgoing personality and a team player through and through
* You have 5+ years in Java 8, recent commercial experience with Kotlin, Spring Framework, and (non-) relational databases
* You have a strong understanding of developing and maintaining microservices using Spring Boot, as well as AWS and Kubernetes for deploying applications
* You have working experience in agile/scrum
* You have excellent English communication skills and an abundance of passion and enthusiasm for creating the product.
* You are an excellent team player and mentor, who ensures that knowledge is shared and increased
* You have experience building software solutions that are highly performant, scalable, and maintainable
Nice-to-have:
Experience with any of ElasticSearch or Keycloak,
