Job Description:
Test Manager
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
? Experience in Automotive industry
? Expert level of Standard Test methodologies, Processes and Best Practices including Agile
Methodologies and Test Factory etc
? Should Formulate and Implement Test strategy covering Functional, Integration, Regression and
Security testing
? Automation consulting experience (esp. Selenium)
? Should be Functionally strong in Automotive Domain
? Should be Expert on Test Management tool ALM / Jira
? Define Test Strategy and Create Test Plan and provide effort estimates
? Should have experience in Test Data Management
? Effectively handle the Defect Management (Defect Triage Meetings, Defect Prevention
meetings, Defect Status Reports)
? Effectively handle Change Requests
? Understanding of different Test automation frameworks
? Prior Testing Process Exposure and Experience is desirable
? Expert in German Language as project communication both written and verbal are in German.
? Should be certified ISTQB Advance level test manager
? Experience programming or managing pogramming teams
Technical knowledge, skills and expertise:
? Should have know-how of Automotive Domain.
? Should have Know-how of Waterfall & Agile Methodologies etc.
? Should have good experience in Test Case Creation/ Test Case execution of Functional Testing.
? Should be familiar with Test case and Defect logging/tracking tools like ALM, JIRA / XRay etc.
? Deputy of the test manager
? Creation of reports/Dashboards in Jira
? Creation of status reports
? Documentation in Confluence
? Creation of test cases based on customer requirements
? Creation and development of targeted test plans
? Test execution using various methods
? Documentation of the test results and existing software components
? Design and further development of the test automation of our products
? Implementation of customer Workshops
? Supervision of the customer acceptance
? Project Language and Documentation is mostly in GERMAN, So should be an expert in GERMAN
language for daily oral/written communications with customers.
Core Competencies mandatory skills :
• Expert level of standard Test methodologies, processes and best practices including Waterfall,
Agile Methodologies and Test Factory etc.
• Should have excellent understanding of Manual and Functional Testing.
• Should have good experience in Test Case Creation/ Test Case execution of Functional Testing.
• Should be functionally strong in Automotive Domain.
• Should be familiar and expert on Test Management tools like ALM, JIRA etc.
• Should be expert in Automation tools like UFT/LeanFT, TOSCA, Load Runner, SAP TAO, Selenium,
Appium etc.
• Should be familiar and expert on defining and creation of Test Automation concepts.
• Should be German language proficient.
