Dear Network,For our client in Frankfurt area we are seeking a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d).
Tasks:
• Maintain and support application services and their integration into development and management tools (focus on Business Partner Connectivity platforms)
• Develop solutions for bug-fixing, small enhancements and monitoring
• Provide 2nd and 3rd Level Support
• Support development teams and projects to ensure effective maintenance, monitoring, and scalability
• Analyze service disruptions and monitoring of service availability and functionality
• Maintain ability for continuous integration and support tests
• Monitor and analyze application performance and develop measures for improvement
Skills:
• Degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification including several years of experience in software development and testing, preferably in the financial industry
• Experience in administration and monitoring of applications, developing small solutions and bug-fixes and continuous improvement of operations efforts
• Experience in IT Operations in complex and heterogeneous environments, preferably in financial services
• Experience with file exchange protocols (sftp, ftps, oftp), key management and encryption methods (PGP), Linux basics
• Knowledge of continuous integration, automated testing, deployment monitoring and related tools is an advantage
• Experience with modern software development methodology and tools in an agile environment
• Ideally good knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GODB, GDPR, PCI DSS, other compliance requirements for IT systems, and relevant IT security regulations.
• Very good conceptual and analytical skills as well as quick perception, commitment and a goal-oriented working style
• Assertiveness, decision-making ability, as well as strong communication and motivation skills
• Good German and English skills
