I am supporting my client who is an industry-leading software integrator and solution house. They are looking to hire a Freelance Simulation Engineer on an 18 month contract.Requirements
- Practical experience with ADAS/AD development and validation processes, ideally at Tier1 or OEM level
- Practical experience on simulation architectures at different locations
- Practical experience with one of: vehicle data, simulation, re-simulation and the respective testing methodology, e.g.
- Scenario generation, extraction and managing both in a manually and automated manner (e.g. via sumo)
- Automotive simulation workflows especially for virtual validation and verification processes, including reprocessing, XiL and 3D simulations
- Working experience on cloud native services
- CI/CD workflows
- Hands-on experience with container administration and/or container application development (AKS, Kubernetes, Docker for 2+ years)
- Experience with CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, ARM templates, Helm charts)
- Minimum B2 English speaking.
- Experience with Codebeamer Connection
Nice to have
- Experience with ADP
- Deep expertise in the automotive standards OpenDrive and OpenScenario
- Hands-on experience of corresponding toolchains of e.g. Ansys, dSpace and/or Fortellix
- Knowledge on ISO26262 and SOTIF processes
