Our client, an exciting company in Berlin, is looking for a Kafka Developer (f/m/d) on a freelance basis.Start date: July 2021
Contract duration: initially 6 months with an extension expected
Volume: 40h a week
Location: Berlin (fully remote work is possible)
Tasks:
- Supporting our client by a roll-out of a Data Streaming platform
- Building applications on the AWS platform
- Building event-based architectures with Kafka Apache Kafka Streams or ksqlDB
- Migrating a monolithic application to a services-oriented architecture
Skills:
- Experience with with Kafka Apache, Kafka Streams or ksqlDB
- Jvm based languages such as Java or Scala
- Containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
- CI/CD, Infrastructure as a Code, DevOps
- Test-Driven Development, Version Control
- Experience working with relational and document databases, such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB
- A strong background in the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, service-oriented architectures
- Good understanding of design patterns
- Working in English in both written and verbal communication is no problem for you
