Aufgabenbeschreibung: You will act as Domain Architect for Tribe Home (Business Domain Mortgages), supporting the existing Domain Architect who is only available for 30% at the moment. The mortgages area has ambitious goals regarding new business volumes on one side and processing speed / cost per case on the other side. For this Tribe Home has started an initiative to digitize the mortgage experience and to modernize its IT landscape. The current mortgage processes are supported by a monolithic multi-channel architecture which in parts dates back over 15 years and is changed 3 times a year in large bank releases. We want to move to a more modular architecture that uses a global technology platform provided by the ING Group to enable our cross-functional delivery teams to design, build and run their features whenever those features are ready and shall go to our customers, speeding up our plan-do-check-act cycle. To facilitate this, your job will include: - Designing the future (3-5 years from now) Target System Landscape for the Mortgages Domain by e.g. using Domain Driven Design in close collaboration with business experts, engineers and architects of other disciplines - Determining and help planning the migration steps in the Tribe Roadmap to replace functionality and data from the monolithic system to an independend systems architecture (internally coined "Target Architecture Germany") - Delivering Solution Architectures in the initiative mentioned above to design for independend systems using the functional as well as the non functional requirements - Provide further architectural services in the current accounts, payments and cards domains -- Make and drive architectural decisions -- Provide Architectural reviews, advice and decision support for ongoing initiatives. -- Contact person for the teams and support with impediments -- Coordinate and approve solution designs with stakeholders and architects. You will primarily work conceptionally doing software architecture designs, system landscape and migration design, roadmapping and architecture decision making. If you go down to code level, it will be reading / analyzing code, but you will usually not be coding yourself in this assignment.

Anforderungsprofil: Hardskills - Experience in Business-IT alignment on the level of software and ideally some experience enterprise architecture. - Experience in IT for the financial services business domain, ideally in retail banking, mortgages would be perfect. - Good grasp of independent systems architectures like e.g. Self-Contained Systems, Microservices, Containerisation, Micro-Frontends, SPAs - Experience with analysing and disassembling monolithic systems in a brown-field context - Design and communication of architectural blueprints and solutions so other disciplines can easily relate (business and IT from C-1 level to team level, other architects like platform, security, infra,...) Soft skills - Ability to get up to speed quickly in a new and complex environment - Quick comprehension, good abstraction - Prioritisation of topics, self management - Ability to communicate on different stakeholder levels ranging from engineering team level to business & IT deciders close to C-level - Work in an international environment - Very good command of English
