SAP EWM - 8 Months contract + Extension - Tijuana Area - Mexico - Start ASAP
You are responsible for successful implementation of IT technology meeting all benchmark levels including measurement of business adoption.
You pro-actively design and define options with the business to simplify business processes .
You take ownership for competence management and continuous improvement.
Specific Requirements
- SAP (E)WM functional consultant with 5+ or more years of work experience in Multiple Implementation, Rollout, Upgrade, Production Support and Enhancement projects
- Experienced in Blueprinting, Realization, Testing (Unit testing, User Acceptance testing and Integration testing), end user training, Final preparation, Go-Live and project support on SAP Warehouse management
- Identify the gap between in the existing system and prepared To Be business process, and fill the gap by identifying right SAP Solution, configuration, development and enhancements.
- Expertise in Configuration of Warehouse Management architecture - Warehouse structure in WM system, Basic stock management, Production Staging, Warehouse Movements, Put away and Picking Strategies, Storage Unit Management, Mobile Data Entry- RF, and Bar code devices.
- Integration experience with SD, IM, PP and QM Modules
General requirements
- Translates business requirements into IT solutions, in accordance with the business and IT strategy, in order to specify the IT projects and services.
- Analyses business processes and formulate proposals for IT solutions and accompanying frames and work methods, and supports realization, in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes. Directly involved in the process architecture.
- Support projects/programs, within the program budget, in order to guarantee an effective development and implementation of the chosen IT solutions, including testing, training and set-up of the SLA.
- Advises and supports Business and IT Management through mapping the user requirements on the existing IT possibilities for improvement of functionality in the assigned application area.
- Analyses problems in operation and makes sure that the problems are solved within the requirements of the SLA and to the satisfaction of the user.
- Develops and provides required key-user training for the implemented application.
- Responsible for the documentation, testing and life cycle maintenance of the assigned applications.
- Take ownership of continuous improvement
