Role: Support Engineer for Notes/ DominoType of contract: Permanent unlimited Contract (Festanstellung)
Location: Eschborn, Germany

Summary:
The Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting different products – Notes, Domino, Sametime and Traveler. This is a customer-facing role that takes a solution and consultative approach to identify, progressing and closing any queries or issues related to the product. The candidate will be reporting directly to the Group Manager of the business together with other support engineers who are also keen on expanding his/her knowledge in the world of Software products.
Skills Required:
• Candidates should have strong customer management skills and/or an aptitude to work calmly with customers under immense pressure
• Ability to put ‘customer first’ in any situation
• Extensive knowledge of Notes/Domino Administration including internals like LTPA, Security, Certificates
• Knowledge of network analyzers like Wireshark, windows debugging tools, protocols like VP, TCSPI, RTP, SIP etc.
• Knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS and SSL Communication is needed
• Strong administration skills on Notes/Domino/SameTime/Traveler or equivalent are must. Candidates with only App Dev experience will not be suitable
• Domain knowledge of Instant Messaging, Voice and Video Conferencing Solution is important
• Working knowledge of OS - Win/ Unix/ Linux is required
• Should be willing to work in shifts during weekdays/weekends
• Long term commitment to Germany location is a must
• Should have strong desire to seek long term career in Customer Support field
• Candidate should be German citizen and working from Germany.
Skills Desirable:
• Network/OS Admin skills.
• Knowledge of Other Messaging Systems like MS Exchange/Sendmail desirable
