I am working with a global consultancy on a couple of amazing projects based around embedded android engineering for a global company on their wearable device offering on a long term contract paying up to £520/day.The ideal candidate would have worked across low level android projects (built on a c++ platform) and to have extensive experience with AOSP based platforms in combination with Low level Android Services / Frameworks and working on Android-based systems / devices.
There is some mix of a low level meets high level application build also so having some experience with java based application builds would also be ideal.
They are looking to offer contracts of around 6+ months with a view for them to extend well beyond 2020…
We can get around 520/day and we are ideally looking for someone to start in the next few weeks. We can wait up to 4 weeks so if you are on a notice period it's no problem.
All onboarding and initial work can be done from home, they do have a office in Central London - at the moment it's not clear on the return to office structure but there will be some remote working allowed to this role post COVID whenever that might be.
