Our customer is looking for a Data Engineer (w/m/d)
The Pipeline Factory builds and operates data pipelines and ETL jobs. It was built in the context of setting up the Data Lake in 2016 with the mission to provide the right data at the right time for analytical solutions.
Since then the demand for new pipelines and the increasing number of active pipelines require us to change the way of working towards a higher degree of standardization. In parallel the data platform is moving from On-Premise to Azure cloud which requires architecture changes and refactoring of existing pipelines.
To prepare the Pipeline Factory for the upcoming changes we will launch a consolidation and migration project which will be completed by end of this year. For this project we are looking for two experienced Data Engineers.
Tasks:
- Consolidation of the architecture and development Framework
- Migration of all existing pipelines to the new development Framework
- Testing of data pipelines for correctness and completeness of data delivery
- Completion and verification of all documentation for both the pipelines and services which underly the Pipeline Factory.
- Close interaction with the Pipeline Factory and Cloud Architecture teams

- Python (Fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse)
- Kubernetes (Fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse)
- Soark (Tiefgreifende Erfahrung)
- Azure Databricks (Fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse)
- Docker (Tiefgreifende Erfahrung)
- Deutsch (Basis)
- Englisch (Fließend)
Einsatzort: Munich & remote
Arbeitsbeginn: 17.08.2020 oder früher
