Java Developer with experience within a trading environment wanted for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years of work experience as a Java developer with Java8+ and Spring Boot knowledge
- Deep understanding of rudimental aspects of Java technology and design patterns used in real-time transaction processing systems
- Expertise with low latency platform including developing low latency and high availability multithreaded code
- Familiarity with object oriented design and programming, test automation like unit, integration, acceptance tests and others along with all phases of the software and system lifecycle process
- Proven experience of good OO design and programming paired with excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of DevOps (Docker and Kubernetes), build and test (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Junit), behavior driven development tools (JBehave or Cucumber), as well as experience with agile working is advantageous
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Creating new applications in the field of trade management applications along with transforming legacy applications to micro services
- Working on automated builds, packaging and deployment processes for production deployments in a changing environment of legacy applications and fresher micro services
- Cooperating with different team members on requirements, preparing releases and distributing the applications to production
- Assisting with integration testing and documentation updates, as well as providing support for the current systems if necessary
- Contributing to the design and technology review of the applications developed by the team
- Communicating with other team-members and stakeholders, plus ensuring quality of provided solutions via monitoring and swiftly reacting to upcoming problems
