Global Solution Architect – Infrastructure Transition (w/m/d) - Munich

Primary purpose of the role
The global solution architect is responsible for the design of one or more services within an organization. He or she must have a balanced mix of technical and business skills, and will often work with a team for strategic direction.
Designing a solution requires understanding how different parts of the business work together.


Key responsibilities
• Analyze and review ALL technical documents
• Constantly deal with analytical work
• Support preparation of decision templates
• Define deliverables (documents, solution designs, plans, etc..)
• Creation of detail project plans and timelines
• Align substream plans with overall project plan
• Identify and follow up risks in time, cost and quality
• Maintain risk list / Define mitigations of risks / Identify and avoid risks
• Define Test scenarios / Define acceptance documents
• Set up of project organisation
• Align project milestones
• Interface to Providers and internal regional workstreams
• Synchronize workstream- and provider- activities / Provider Mgmt

Qualification
• More than 4 years of experience in designing and implementing information systems that support an enterprise infrastructure
• More than 4 years of experience in working with complex infrastructure systems and making the necessary modifications
• More than 4 years of experience in planning an IT-Infrastructure
• More than 4 years expertise in planning, testing and installation of IT-Components in an IT-Environment
• More than 4 years of experience in analyzing infrastructure designs and security standards
• The GSA has a responsibility to look into the implementation and transition of both operational service and center
