COBOL Developer - DB2 / VSAM / CICS / JCL vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the consulting sector.Your experience/skills:
- Strong work experience on providing 3rd level support for Mainframes applications such as COBOL, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CICS and MQ's
- Hands on experience with Agile methodologies and metrics like Velocity, Burndown chart and Story points
- Familiarity with tools like HP Quality Center, JIRA, GITHUB and SVN, UFT is optional
- Solid background in unit testing and scrum testing combined with domain knowledge of Investment Banking Operations such as Trade settlement and Payment
- Strong organisational and quality assurance skills
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Developing solution specifications and cost estimates
- Performing roles such as Technical Analyst and Business Analyst for complex projects
- Ensuring the quality of existing codes as well as implementing code reviews if needed
- Bringing new technical and methodical ideas
- Being responsible for technical conception, analysis and design
