For one of our customers we are searching for a .Net Buildmaster (m/w/d).Tasks:
• Support the software development team to setup and maintain the bulid and release configurations
• Understand an aling the vision and needs of the software development team in order to develop, maintain and improve our code based build processes in an optimal way
• Support on the harmonization of software build and release processes
• Support negotiations with software project leads to achieve the optimal and efficient qualitity of the software build and release process
• Document the build and release process in the way that the software development team can use it as a knowledge base for the daily work
• Support the software development team on the configuration managmeent and software versioning of the deiverables
• Planning, estimation, desgin, implementation and rollout of the build and release process changes and updates follow pre-agreed priorization
• All the activities are executed in close collaboration with the DevOps team
• Coordination people involved and ensuring that all works is completed within the defined plan
• Reporting to Software projekt leads is profided which describes the progess on the build process updates and possibly risks on deliverey quality
Required Qualifications:
• Several years work experience in .Net development
• Experience in Independent delivery of complex, defined assignments. specivication planning, implementation, testing and documentation of assignments and drafting/definition of tasks
• Experience in definition, development and maintenance of a software based build process
• Manage Version Control, ensuring that the most current version of the software includes all of the necessary updates
• Troubleshooter in order to analysze improvements, issues or difficculties of the Software based build Process
• Experience in Build and Software Documentation Maintenance
• Contribute to continuous delivery cyle software in which patches, new versioins, and bug fixes are more frequently deployed to end users without sacrificing stability or reliability
• Object Oriented Programming Experience, Desired C#, but Java or Python can fit
• Knowledge in TFS / Azure DevOps (VSTS) / Jenkins
• Knowledge in TFSVC, Git desired but SVN can fit
• Scripting Experience nice to have Cake Script Experience but Powershell / Bash / CMD can fit
• Build and Test Environment Definition Experience
• Scrum / Kanban / Agile Methodology Experience
• Fluent in English
• Nice to have: Good German understanding
