A Swiss Insurance Company is looking for a Data Migration Specialist who develops, engineers and maintains migration codebase. The candidate will have proven experience in developing migration codebase and migrating large on-premise SharePoint sites into the cloud service, as part of the new Digital Workplace supported by the Office 365 cloud, as well as perform migrations from My Sites & local documents to OneDrive for Business.Start Date: 01.09.2019

Tasks:
- Develop / Engineer / Maintain migration codebase.
- Work with ShareGate migration tool to execute migrations.
- Assist in resolving defects that occur as a result of the migration process (3rd level support).
- Perform migrations from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online.
- Perform migrations from My Sites & local documents to OneDrive for Business.
Requirements:
- Must have 3-6 years of strong PowerShell experience - (any other languages like C# are a Plus).
- Must have minimum 3-6 years of SharePoint experience (preferably a recent version).
- Experience with managing site collections, sites, webs, pages, lists and libraries.
- Experience with managing user groups, permissions and access rights.
- Experience in analyzing SharePoint sites, SharePoint content, and then building & engineering solutions to move that content into SharePoint Online.
- Office 365 experience is a big plus (Specifically SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business).
- Strong knowledge regarding the SharePoint Object Model (REST API experience a plus).-
- Git experience not necessary, but would be a nice to have.
- Experienced in moving content from on-premise (Files shares, SharePoint 2016) to SharePoint online and Cloud File Share.
- Experience in large enterprise Environments.
- Willing to travel to Bratislava and work from there once every 2 months for up to 1 month.
