My client is a software company with a focus on building the next generation of LiDAR systems for autonomous vehicles, UAVs and industrial automation. We are searching for an experienced embedded developer to come on board for a 12 month project to write low level code for the sensor enabling a simple, high-performance, solid state solution. Whilst not essential, German speaking candidates will be favoured for this role. After the initial on boarding phase, remote work will be an option for this role.If this role seems interesting, it is advised potential candidates apply ASAP as this listing will be closed once a suitable profile has been identified.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.
• Executing full lifecycle software development.
• Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Requirements:
• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study
• 5+ years of professional embedded development experience (ideally in the automotive sector)
• OR 1-2+ years of industry experience with a Master’s/PhD degree in engineering, computer science or other technical related field.
• Ability to develop software in C++, Python or other programming languages on a Linux OS.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Excellent knowledge of LiDAR, Computer vision and Image processing.
• Familiarity with network programming would be a plus.
