Responsibilities• IMS system engineering in a large mainframe environment (System z Mainframe, newest generation of z14, 2 CECs with over 35 systems in a Multisite Sysplex configuration, DB2, CICS, ACF2, SAzOS)
• Analyze and diagnose performance issues within IMS transactions
• Optimize and automate IMS processes
• Install, customize and maintain IBM IMS TM and IMS DB
• Develop, customize and maintain IMS Exits
• Train young mainframe talents and career starters in IMS
• Guarantee a 7/24h support for IMS, CICS and WebServices
• Workload 60% to 100% possible
Requirements
• Deep IMS engineering skills
• Assembler skills to customize and maintain IMS Exits
• IMS DB skills
• Knowledge of SMP/E
• Fluent communication in English
Nice to have
• Knowledge of IMS V14/V15
• Skills in PL/1, REXX or CICS
• German language skills
