Responsibilities:
•
Designing, developing, testing and documenting software algorithms, components and applications.
•
Leads the development and execution of new principles and concepts
•
Leads requirements gathering, estimating, and planning efforts.



Must Have: Minimum Requirements


SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE DESIRED


· Expert knowledge of software algorithm design, development, debug and test practices.

· Proficient programming in C/C++.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Strong leadership skills and mentoring capabilities.

· Ability to work in a team environment.


Nice to Have


· Extensive expertise in 2D or 3D image processing, non-linear optimization, computational geometry, signal processing, or position measurement/metrology algorithms.

· Ability to assess new technologies via comprehensive reviews of the state-of-the-art.

· Experience building medium to large size C++ applications/libraries.

· Experience developing for DSP, FPGA or other embedded processors

· Experience in software design including OOA/OOD and design pattern.

· Experience developing GUI applications.

· Software development experience in the medical industry or other regulated industry.

· Familiarity and experience working with Matlab, Linux, and scripting languages.
