Freelance DevOps Engineer

Location: Munich
Duration: Until end of 2019
Remote working: 1 day per week

Montash are working with a global organisation based in Munich who are looking to grow their Data Platform team with a number of freelance DevOps Engineers. You would be working alongside an agile driven team as they look to deliver the project to the global group.

Essential Skill -
- Experience with Linux
- Infrastructure as code - IAAC
- Log and Metrics management
- Virtualization (virtual machines & Docker)
- Deployment and configuration automation (Ansible)
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Nexus etc.)
- DevOps mindset (you build it, you run it; taking responsibility for your work)
- Team player open to work in an agile environment
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must

Example projects:
- Design and implemented monitoring / alerting based on Prometheus
- Implement findings from the security concept (Linux, CI/CD, Log Management,
- Optimize & automate operational processes (e.g. automatic provisioning of VMs with XEN, automatic creation of SSL VPN connections)
- Define and implement measures to increase the availability of the platform
