Ladies and Gentlemen,

for our customers we are looking for external support in the field:

Infrastructure Project Manager

Project overview:
The DC Exit Program within the enterprise is a prerequisite for the ability to manage the identification, analysis, validation, planning and implementation (move/migration) of target systems, applications and infrastructure services into the new environments.

The first requirement is to start working with preliminary supplier studies for scoping, which are currently ongoing and are expected to last until Q2/2019. In preparation for the completion of the pre-study and the resulting results, a resource with strong technical project management, stakeholder and governance capabilities (along with relevant experience in this type of infrastructure-related work) is required to take the pre-study results as a starting point for an implementation project phase to carry out the service and data migration work.

Task:
Although this project primarily involves the implementation of a specific project for the enterprise, it will need to coordinate with many interdependent and ongoing projects to achieve common goals and successes, and collaboration between enterprises and organizations will be central in this role.

The initial scope for this project will include existing file services such as mapped drives, SharePoint, sFTP, eDiva/DFS, etc., as well as any other hosting sites associated with access to data and/or going through the current DC environments. As mentioned above, the scope is to be confirmed in the result of the preliminary study currently being conducted by the suppliers.

This project is suitable for a senior PM with proven skills and/or knowledge in classical data center migration projects. The ability to manage stakeholders, business unit engagement and supplier performance within an aggressive timeframe according to agreed schedules is as important as the ability to regularly produce tracking artifacts, reports and communication updates that match the project, objectives and status.

Task:
- Analysis and review of the IT landscape in the current state of the identified systems, applications, data and/or services.
- Identification of changes or gaps in the current understanding of the current landscape.
- Application of the defined corporate IT strategy, architecture, design and security standards.
- Definition of the "to be" requirements to place the systems, applications, data and services in the new hosting locations.
- Managing the migration plan(s) for the identified enterprise infrastructure, systems and services to the new hosting environment with the suppliers to achieve the desired timelines.
- Coordinate appropriate controls to manage agreed milestones.
- Collaborate with business units and develop and communicate plans, potential impacts, data movements, user testing, etc. to achieve a successful launch.
- Manage project deviations in scope, results, etc. according to defined change processes.
- Initiate and coordinate the decommissioning of unused infrastructure identified during project discovery activities and/or migration.
- Coordinate with other programs to minimize the impact on users.
- Coordinate with other projects to achieve the overall programme objectives for the
to successfully implement your company.
