Data Scientist – Freelance – Berlin

This is a rare opportunity to work for a market leading Telecommunications company based in Germany as a Data Scientist.

This business IS transforming the marketing industry and are looking for Data Scientists to help make changes to their anonymisation project.

The company has a high performing culture and innovative product, which is aided by experienced scientists and engineers who work closely with each other in cross functional international teams.

Role:

• Developing, testing and implementing Machine Learning algorithms
• Analysing structured and unstructured datasets in order to improve the functionality of their product.
• Develop new Data Science methods in close cooperation with other teams like product design.
• Operating API models
• Contribute to the success of the product and business by working in a motivated and ambitious team of data scientists and data engineers.
What do you need?

• PhD/ BSc/ MSc in Computer Science, Maths, Stats or a related area (Computer Science/ AI degrees favoured)
• Profound programming skills (E.g. Python, Java)
• A plus: Relevant experience working within a Telecommunications organisation
• Experience designing and productionising Machine Learning models and algorithms
• Even better would be to have experience collecting data from big data stores (Amazon / BigQuery or Spark / Hadoop / Neo4j)
