Senior Data Engineer - Freelance - 12 Months - €700 p/dAn amazing opportunity to work for a highly successful Automotive company. You will be working with some of the best technology in the market alongside some top engineers in the industry!
The Senior Data Engineer will have strong experience creating containerized applications using Docker. They are looking for a candidate with a Data Engineering or Software Engineering background who is strong with Java and Docker. Python, Hadoop and Spark experience would be a bonus.
Role:
*Develop and implement models using prototypes & proof-of concepts
*Optimization, development and implementation of solutions within data pipelines (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Kubernetes)
*Use of service oriented architecture, container applications and functions, especially in cloud
Skills:
*Understanding of cloud computing tools (e.g.Azure)
*previous experience working with Docker or Kubernetes.
*Masters or PHD in area with computational element, e.g Computer Science
*English Speaker needed
*3+ years of experience
