Senior Data Scientist Freelance – 6 months - Berlin – 700€ per dayA once in a lifetime opportunity to work for Berlin's latest Tech unicorn in the online music market. They have over €200m Euros of investment and they are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to work in their Berlin headquarters. The ideal candidate will be available to start ASAP.
This is a 6 month Freelance role paying up to 700€ per day. Previous contracting experience is required.
Your Tasks
* Use of prototype demand forecasting
* Analyse data and consumer behaviour
* Use of statistical models to predict consumer behaviour
* Collaborate with back-end development team
* Also work with yield management and business intelligence teams
* Find solutions for data driven decision making
* Use of creative insights to solve challenges
Your Profile
* 3 plus years of experience as Analyst or Data Scientist
* Statistical background & previous experience with machine learning algorithms
* Knowledge of algorithm design and complexity
* Fluency in a minimum of one major programming language eg. Python
* Experience working with visualisation
* Experience working with NoSQL databases, big data tools eg. Hadoop
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong business acumen
