Executive Summary:

A global integrator of communications products and services is looking to hire a Senior Cloud Architect - Consultant whose main mission is to analyse their customers IT infrastructure and application estates, support the customer in developing their Cloud strategy and define Cloud transformation and transition road maps. This opportunity is based in Zurich and comes with a competitive package.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients in the following key domains:
    • Application architecture.
    • Cloud delivery methodologies.
    • Cloud native constructs, including Containerisation, Micro-Services and Server less architectures.
    • Cloud architecture and multi-cloud solutions
  • Design, architect and propose new architectures for customer applications and service
  • Study the eligibility of applications for the cloud (business, technical and security) and propose suitable target services and cloud models.
  • Assist sales representatives in the IT sales and pre-sales phase and drive the sale of IT consulting services
  • Engage early in the sales cycle to identify opportunities, identify key customer IT stakeholders to provide a service IT portfolio to enable cloud opportunities.


Skills Required:
  • Certified Cloud Architect (AWS, Azure, GCE, etc.)
  • Experience of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solutions and services across the AWS/Azure portfolio
  • Proven track record in delivering multiple enterprise cloud solutions in AWS/Azure, where you have been working with large enterprise customers to gather requirements and produce technical solutions from initial conception following through to implementation.
  • Good mastering of the DevOps platforms and exposure to Big Data solutions.
  • As a consultant, you will be required to travel of up to 25% to the various customers.
