Summary:A global integrator of communications services based just outside London is looking to hire an experienced and Senior Cloud Architect whose main mission is to analyse their clients IT infrastructure and application estates, support the customer in developing their Cloud strategy and define Cloud transformation and transition road maps.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist sales representatives in the It sales and pre-sales phase and drive the sale of IT consulting services.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients in the following key domains:
- Application architecture.
- Cloud delivery methodologies.
- Cloud native constructs, including Containerisation, Micro-Services and Server less architectures.
- Cloud architecture and multi-cloud solutions
- Design, Architect and propose new architectures for customer IT application and data migration.
- Actively contribute to the solutions portfolio by providing technical knowledge and methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects.
Skills Required:
- Experience of application development processes, DevOps methodologies and programmatic constructs including: APIs, scripting and codifying infrastructure.
- Experience leveraging cloud automation and orchestration including work-flow development and desired state configuration methodologies and tools.
- Extensive IT consulting skills and ability to drive IT transformation opportunities as well sales and pre-sales skills.
- Essential: Certified Cloud Architect (AWS, Azure, GCE, etc.).
Essential: Travelling 25%, capability to cover Europe.
