I am looking for a DevOps Engineer for a long-term project in Munich OR Mannheim.key responsibilities:
- Architecture, design and construction of an innovative DevOps architecture
- Automation of partially manual processes to improve continuous delivery
- Constant engagement with new tools and methods to continuously improve the environment
- Collaboration with a dedicated team
- Integration into an agile development process
- Quick feedback from customers and thus direct appreciation of their own work
You are a specialist in that:
- Strong interest in new technologies and DevOps methods, and believes that everything can be automated
- Safeguard tools and techniques used in DevOps such as Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Shell Scripting, and Linux
- Safer understanding of infrastructure topics such as AWS Cloud, Azure Cloud, Networking, Deployment, and Security
- Ideally, experience with other languages and frameworks, such as Linux, Shell Scripting, Typescript, Javascript, Python, R
- Several years of professional experience in software engineering in a commercial environment (at least 3 years)
- Successfully completed bachelor or master studies in (business) computer science, mathematics or physics or equivalent education
- Analytical, innovative way of thinking and experimentation
Location: Munich or Manheim
Duration: 6 months rolling + extension
Language: English is enough but German is icing on the cake
Rate: to be discussed
Start: ASAP or Beginning of Jan 2019
