Production Support RolesThe production support person provides the level 1, level 2 and level 3 of service-desk support for end-users within the agency.
Job Description (Primary Skills)
We are seeking a .NET developer responsible for building and supporting .NET applications using ASP .NET C#, entity framework, LINQ, SQL server.
Responsibilities:
1. Incident management - logging, prioritizing and resolving incidents andtrack them against various SLAs.
2. Problem management - resolving recurring incidents permanently, performing break fixes and implementing preventative action items.
3. Configuration management - tracking the versions of key system artifactsand source code in version control software (TFS).
4. Change Management - submitting change requests, documenting impactand benefits, obtaining approval by a change control board and managing theimplementation using CA service helpdesk.
5. Integration Engineering Manage code deployments and migrations throughthe environment stack from Development, to DEV, to QA, To Prod.
6. Monitor system availability.
7. Follow proper escalations procedures.
8. Excellent listening skills, self-starter, assertive, thorough, followsestablished procedures and the ability to meet deadlines
9. Must be able to communicate effectively and work well within a teamenvironment.
10. Preparing solution document for incidence which are logged.
11. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for urgent, high and recurring Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 incidents
Domain Details:
Transport, logistics and warehouse management domain exposure will be added advantage.
