Core Java Developer with profound business knowledge wanted for our Bellinzona based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years' of working experience as a Core Java (Java 7/8) Developer along with 3+ years of database experience (Sybase preferred)
- Expertise in common Java frameworks as well as with Unix (Linux / AIX / Solaris)
- Demonstrable experience of OO design and programming beside familiarity with all phases of the systems development lifecycle
- Sound knowledge of Garbage collection and multithreading
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Collaborating with colleagues from multiple teams and disciplines, bringing added value to the team
- Providing application support to front office and risk management business clients as well as non-Swiss-based team members
- Analyzing requirements along with creating a solution design and implementing changes in the applications
- Mentoring junior developers in the team, especially with developers in different locations
