Location: Near Dusseldorf, Germany
Rate: Open, negotiable depending on experience
Duration: Initial 6 months (extendable)
Start date: ASAP
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for design projects and overseeing the concept stage as well as the design of composites components and assemblies.
- Meeting delivery deadlines within the cost limits.
- Generating specifications of composite units as well as the corresponding component testing.
- In charge of producing designs, drawings and all related documents.
The successful candidate will:
- Have great understanding and "hands-on" experience of carbon composite design methods and laminate definition, including structural elements and crash structures
- Be a specialist with CAD (CATIA V5: solid, surfaces and drafting, CPD/CPE) data management systems (Teamcenter) and MS Office
- Have a great English language skills both spoken and written
