Due to a temporary vacancy at my client's location in Berlin, they will be looking to hire an experience Stress Engineer on a short-term Freelance basis.
The project will involve non-linear structural analyses of seat structures for Railway, Busses and Trucks. You should bring extensive experience from an automotive background and should ideally have worked on similar projects before. You will be supporting their current team of highly specialised consultants on-site with different customers.
Essential Requirements:
- University degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering or similar
- 2-3 years experience in the field of Stress Engineering
- Experience in non-linear structural analysis (ie instability, buckling, bending)
- FEM Tools: Hyperworks, ANSYS
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
Contract:
- Location: Berlin
- Duration: 6 weeks with possible extension to long-term
- Rate: competitive, per-hour, negotiable
