For our customer within the energy sector, we are searching to fill the position for the area Hamburg as

Project Engineer (m/f) on Freelance basis

This is a Project on Freelance Basis, start is planned for May 2018. Duration is at least until end of 2019.

Tasks:
- Deliver Safe Operations in a project environment with increasing complexity
- Provide leadership, and drive performance
- Managing all aspects of the projects assigned from Feed, Basic Eng, Detailed Eng, Construction & Commissioning
- Manage 3rd party resources planning, engineering and implementing project works
- Maintain Safety, Financial, Planning control on the works required
- Management of internal Stakeholder relationships
- Represent the customer in front of Regulators, and Government entities when required as part of project execution
- Manage delivery of various projects to meet time, quality, budget and health and safety targets

Skills required:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in a CAPEX project environment including experience managing projects of various complexities within a Terminal Environment.
- Strong technical understanding paired with a structured and target-oriented commercial direction
- Innovation in relation to Technical solution required for various projects and strong in relation to steering/directing Eng. Solutions for projects
- Experienced in supervising, and working with, people from various backgrounds and cultures
- Experienced in managing business relationships at senior-management level
- Experienced with dealing with regulatory requirement s and providing technical solutions to meet these requirements
- In depth knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry and expertise in project management for CAPEX projects in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry
- Strong interface management skills directing the assessment, selection and management of suppliers, sub- consultants and contractors as well as project team members
- Experienced in Stakeholder Management including permitting authorities
- Strong HSEC awareness and values
