For our customer within the medical sector, we are searching to fill the position for the area Hamburg as

Industrial Engineer (m/f) on Freelance basis

This is a Project on Freelance Basis, start is April 2018. Duration is at least until end of December 2018.

Tasks:
- Focus is on ZIII conversion project
- Implement & update finishing equipment to enable the conversion of existing Vicryl, Vicryl plus & Vicryl rapide to Zipper III package
- Delivery, and Cost of a manufacturing process or line
- Execute plans to improve flow of products, people and information
- Leverage process knowledge to identify opportunities / solutions to improve throughput capacity by reducing impact of constraints
- Sustains business improvement results through the application of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Facilitates business case definitions and results presentations; as required
- Follows and observes all regulatory requirements (GMP’s, ISO, FDA, internal policies) applicable to area of responsibility
- Leads change, connects with others and shapes the environment

Skills required:
- Complies with company`s safety requirements and safe working conditions and practices in the department
- Complies with safety requirements and safe working conditions and practices in the department
- Experience in Six Sigma and/or Lean methodologies is preferred
- Demonstrates awareness of stakeholders, including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering and New Product Introduction teams
- Familiar with FDA QSR, GMP and DIN EN ISO 9001 & Six Sigma
- Fluency in English and in German is necessary
