Responsibilities:
Monitoring of the operating system, the databases and the application logs
Monitoring the alarms of all systems and all operating interfaces provided
Maintenance of the backup inventory, in case of emergency the execution of
recovery procedures. (Access to backup data must be 7x24 hours possible)
Administration of the systems or databases as published
Administrative procedures, or vendor-specific administration manuals
Provide an electronic logbook on company activities, problems and incidents
Perform the repair and return process together with the repair center
Ensuring the function of modems / maintenance accesses
Provision of customer-specific and other information and system-specific parameters
Create problem reports using problem management system, or in emergency situations by telephone escalation to the hotline of the helpdesk
Support for the integration of new system components using the 2nd support level team
Conduct interface tests (interconnection tests, ...) using the 2nd support level team
Perform analysis to create performance statistics and performance reports (on interfaces, on system availability, on the network, and on the immediate environment)
SIM card configuration
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Telecommunication or similar
At least 3 years working experience in a similar role (NOC Support)
Willing to do shift work
Strong knowledge about GSM/GSMR Technologies
Fluent German or French is mandatory
