We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company, to support their project in Philippines.



Position Title: Senior IP/Datacom Network Service Engineer

Position Type: Fixed Term Contract

Start Date: June 2016

Duration: TBD

Responsibilities:

Perform analysis of network/system needs, evaluate network/system hardware and software requirements and capabilities, and also make recommendations. Conduct network planning, network architecture design and engineering.

Integrate and schematically depict communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission, and signaling links and protocols into complete network configurations.

Assist in the design, testing and evaluation of new products/solution, procedures and implementations in the area of network/system hardware and software.

Business Goals: responsible for delivery of IP/Datacom Network related contract fulfillment to achieve business goals of the Key Account department (e.g. revenue, Professional Service sales order, network stability and security).

Management of Customer Requirements: responsible for identifying group level customer strategic requirements, developing unified Huawei delivery strategy, supporting strategy execution.

Program Management: support to key programs with:

Early Involvement

Improving contract quality

Solving key project issues

Ensuring all subsidiary projects delivered successfully

As well as keeping group level customer satisfied.

Manage Customer Satisfaction: responsible for related group level customer satisfaction management. Identify group level risks for customer satisfaction, develop improvement plans and support project team to improve. Closed-loop management of group level customer issues and complaints.

Manage Customer Relationship: manage group level delivery related relationships in line with the Key Account Department customer relationship management plan.

Team management: responsible for team (more than 10 members) daily and business management; responsible for the team's goal achievement and team member's development.

Consultant Service: provide customer with end-to-end professional consultant service on core network domain.

Qualifications/Skills required:

Min. 10+ years of work experience in IP network domain and on administrative positions.

Min. Bachelor degree in engineering field.

ECE license mandatory.

Familiar with IP/Datacom network commonly used protocol (TCP/IP, RIP, ISIS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPSec, VRRP, etc.). Prior experience with Cisco and other international Datacom Network engineering, strong technical knowledge of Datacom Network equipment, have project experience.

Holder of CCIE/HCIE certificates.

Prior SDN/NFV experience.

Good communication, customer relationships and teamwork skills; logical and well organized. Team leader experience is preferred. Self-motivated, result-oriented, highly independent, with good learning ability. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Fluent in English (both written and oral).

Good relationships with operators in Philippines.
