We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunication company, for an Core IMS Network Support Engineer to join their project in the United Kingdom.
Position Title: Core IMS Network Support Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: January 2016
Duration: 6 months rolling contract

Responsibilities:
Equipment hardware installation, software installation, stand alone commissioning, including ATS/CSCF/SBC/HSS/ENS/STP/DRA/PCRF
Equipment testing support, including test environment setup, test equipment management and maintenance
Implementing or supervising project engineering process, including hardware and software supervision, acceptance test
Implement of site survey and achieving survey report
Supporting as Interface with engineering partner to locate technical problems that may arise during the engineering process
Responsible for Level1/level2 technical support service to customer or partner independently or jointly with a technical support team
Onsite support in case of major or critical problems that can't be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA
Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system and keep tracking these problems during the whole resolving process
Follow up issues that may arise during testing/workshop/bidding activities
Customer communication and workshops
Bidding support on project engineering and technical service related part
Qualifications/Skills Required:
University degree in telecom technology, Computer Science, or equivalent qualification
At least 2 year experience in telecommunication service area In-depth is preferred, current technical knowledge of: Routing, Switching, Voice over IP, NGN/IMS,CS, PS , i.e. GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, UMTS, GPRS, etc. And Telecommunication Protocols/Standards (SS7, SIP, H323, MGCP, MAP, CAP, AAA, Diameter etc) knowledge, familiar with UNIX/Solaris system, Sybase and oracle database.
Proven ability to diagnose and localize technical problem using logical analysis techniques
Flexible to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, communication & teamwork skills
Ability to work with customers, internal business unit organizations, and third party vendors
Fluent in English
