Cognos TM1 Development Expert wanted for our Munich based client in the financial sector.
Your tasks:
- Designing and improving TM1 solutions, supervising contract resources and reviewing code
- Cooperating with business customers, IT Project Managers and Business Systems Analysts to define functional requirements
- Documenting data calculation and data validation requirements
- Working with external development partners to incorporate TM1 development best practices into application design and development
- Reporting testing activities (eg testing results, test case coverage, defects discovered) and updating UAT testing metrics
Your experience/skills:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science/IT or similar field
- 3-5 years experience in designing, developing and supporting Cognos TM1 applications (version 10.1 required, version 10.2 highly desired) ie proficiency in coding TM1 Rules, Turbo Integrator (ETL), TM1 Web, and MDX as well as all knowledge of TM1 administration functions and using TM1 in conjunction with DB2
- Solid knowledge of IBM Cognos BI, Windows server administration and Scripting, TM1 API development would be a strong plus
- Profound Datamodelling experience and familiar with Data Warehouse
- Experienced with database development and design, very strong DB2, SQL skills
