Für unseren Kunden aus dem Raum Basel suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen Professional Application Engineer SAP BW / ABAP Developer (m/w). Die Projektarbeit findet in internationalem Kollegenumfeld statt. Solide bis gute Englischkenntnisse sind wünschenswert.
Aufgaben:
* Carrying out analytrical activities and all software development tasks.
* Incorporating technical and operational requirements into IT solutions.
* ABAP developing for SAP BW (main requirement).
* Business Analysis.


Für diese Aufgabenstellung sollten Sie über die folgenden Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen verfügen:
*Experience in requirement gathering and clarification.
* Capacity to recognize requirements whose implementation would increase the risk of system failure, increase the system complexity, cause performance loss, increase maintenance cost, impact other systems/process or decrease usability.
* Capacity to propose alternative requirements.
* Experience in complex system landscape with regional/local exceptions.
* Experience in digging into the details and verifying consistency of an apparently simple requirements that is in fact complex due to the system complexity, process diversity between regions or data quality issues.
* Logistics process and SAP ERP expertise.
* Knowledge of SAP ERP logistics process and transactions (SD, MM, PP, QM, ...).
* Knowledge of the SAP APO process and transactions.
* We expect developers to build their test cases within the underlying ERP systems, e.g. creation/modification of process orders in APO and ERP.
* BI expertise in all or at least in one of the following:
– SAP BW7.4 based on HANA (experience in use of logistics & APO extractors) (must have)
– Business Object 4.1 Webi
– Business Object Design Studio
– Business Object 3.1 Xcelsius 2008
– Business Object 4.1 integration with SAP BW
– SAP Portal Integration with BW or BO
– BO Analysis for MS Excel with API scripting
– SAP HANA Studio
– FIORI using WEB IDE
– SAP UI5 development
*Expertise means minimum 50% of last 12 months spent in pure development activities, e.g. ability to provide one BO report of medium complexity within one day.

*Other Development Skills:
– Expertise in ABAP development for SAP BW.
– Knowledge in ABAP OO development and BSP Technology.
– Web programming: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Sencha API, ExtJs 4.0

*Communication:
– English language is a must and sufficient.
– Understands and is understood by average non native English speakers.
– Experience in customer interaction in project(s) outside home country.

*Usability:
– Knowledge in developing front end solutions to the users (dashboard and reports with common sense on the look and feel).
