Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experience Data Warehouse developer to begin at our centeral Munich location to begin working as soon as possible.
For this position we are looking for a candidate with practical experience who is looking to advance their career in this growing and exciting field.
This role is for a Four month contract with the potential to be expanded for between four to eight months
Your Tasks will include such areas as:
- Analysis of various data sources and derivation of integration concepts in a data warehouse
- Designing innovative BI applications in the environment of digital media
- Personal responsibility for designing the DWH/Big Data architecture in the context of an agile approach
- Modeling and ongoing optimization of data models for mapping of all relevant business entities
- Concept and implementation of ETL processes
- Supply of database for reporting and analysis applications
- Ongoing performance and quality improvement of processes for processing mass data and the application of reporting/analytical tools (SAP Business Objects)
- Continuous evaluation of new Business Intelligence & Big Data technologies
- Liaison and coordination with the operating team

Desired Skills & ExperienceIn order to be successful in an application for the position of Data Warehouse Developer - Hadoop, Hive, SQL, DWH, ETL you will need to have the following skills and experience in your profile:
- A Masters degree with information technology, statistical or scientific focus or equivalent experience in a similar field
- Proven professional experience in the topic Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Big Data
- Very good experience in building, the modelling and the management of enterprise-wide data warehouse
- Very good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle) and BI tools (ETL, OLAP, reporting tools)
- Ideally experience with NoSQL and Hadoop infrastructure (MapReduce/Hive/MongoDB/Spark)
- Team player with good integration and communication skills
- Autonomous operation and curiosity to get to know new technologies
- You are able to time manage and plan effectively.
- You are passionate about creating world class products to inspire people.
- You are thrilled to have an impact in the world of big data and data development
- You have fluent German language skills both written and spoken - A LEVEL OF C1 OR HIGHER IS ESSENTIAL
- You have good English language skills both written and spoken - A LEVEL OF B1 OR HIGHER IS ESSENTIAL
- IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT CANDIDATES ARE ABLE TO WORK AND TRAVEL WITHIN GERMANY WITHOUT RESTRICTION.
