*URGENT SAP EDI CONSULTANT NEEDED*
My client in Germany are urgently searching for an expert SAP EDI consultant - with strong SD knowledge to join their potential long term project - 6 month contract minimum - to be considered to should have the following;
Technical EDI
- SAP Technical knowledge
- User-Exits in IDOC processing/creation environment: Extension of SAP-Logic
- be able to read, understand and ideally write ABAP
- be able to create functional specification for new or to be changed ABAP logics for offsite ressources and should be able to provide an example from his former worklife
- be able to read to analyse existing user-Exits by debugging and know the relevant transactions
- Be able to analyze SD Processes and know the relevant SAP tables
- SAP Connectivity
- EDI Standards
- Know general EDIFACT knowledge (ideally also VDA, ANSI X12)
- Know EDIFACT Message types such as:
- X.400
- AS/2
- sftp
- Worked with offsite Developer Ressources
- Worked with EDI Managed Service Providers like Sterling, GXS or Seeburger
- Able to work independent and take accountility for dedicated topics independently
- Able to communicate with people with different backgrounds and be able to choose the right language and level of technical detail when interacting with;
- Providers, Customer internals
- Tradingpartners ie Customers
SAP SD/OTC Process Knowhow
have deep general knowledge on SAP SD Processes including Sales Order, Delivery and Invoice creation - ideally both processes should be covered:
CPG Business Standard Sales Process
Industrial/Automotive Scheduling Agreements
know SD Pricing Mechanism and Condition Types
Printout Mechanism and Output Conditions
be able to book a complete process in SAP and should know SAP Standard Transactions
- Fluent English, German (appreciated)
