Energy IT develops and maintains the M7 system, which is used as trading platform for energy power exchanges as well as for commodity derivatives markets by several customers around the world.We are looking for an IT Consultant who will help us performing the work of the unit Service Implementation, Infrastructure & Business Operations.
The following tasks are involved:
Support of Service Implementation projects to on board new customers to the standard M7 product
Define, coordinate & track the creation of new technical environments in cooperation with I&O
Customer support during Acceptance & Simulation phase
Establish and agree plan for rollout of the M7 product into Production
Rollout activities for new M7 versions and existing customers
Creation and maintenance of process documentation & technical documentation (e.g. M7 Operating Manual)
Documentation of existing environments
Planning & Coordination of software rollouts in customer facing environments (internal with I&O and external with the customer)
Organisation, performance and documentation of meetings
Support of monthly SLA/KPI reporting for the customers
Support of consulting activities for individual Energy IT projects
Resources/ skill profiles:
IT Consultant with strong IT background
Very good understanding of technical infrastructures and state-of-the-art technologies (environment: Java, Web, AMQP, PostgreSQL)
Ability to discuss technical topics with development and I&O at eye level
Team player with a pro-active attitude
Ability to meet challenging project deadlines and deliver in a fast moving and change oriented environment
Excellent coordination and communication skills
Show a structured working method, show analytical and problem-solving capabilities
General knowledge of trading systems would be a plus
Business proficiency in German and English in speaking and writing
Highly motivated and engaging nature, positively assertive
MS Office (incl. Visio)
MS Project is an advantage
