Organisation Change Management (OCM) Consultant

Role Description:

Required Experience:

Proven OCM (Organisation Change Management) leadership for a large scale process redesign, system integration or technical upgrade projects, especially ERP (Oracle, JDE, PeopleSoft technology experience preferred)

Functional Knowledge:

Business Process and IT. Demonstrated experience in usability analysis, user adoption, IT processes, Shared Services and Mergers & Acquisitions a plus.

OCM Knowledge:

  • Leadership Engagement: Assist senior executives using organization perspectives and methods to execute business strategies, improve operations and performance, and optimize roles and responsibilities.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Assist in the implementation of strategy, business initiatives, and organizational and cultural changes for leadership alignment, change leadership, stakeholder and employee engagement, large scale program design, organization performance, and communications.
  • Communications: Create Communication strategies and plans. Coordinate and execute Communications plans with client resources. Develop and deliver key messages to senior level executives. Create, engage and sustain Change Agent Network.
  • OCM resource - could be doing everything from OCM architect, training/education lead, and communication lead/development, and role redesign.
  • Organizational Design: Identify technology/process impacts on organizational roles/jobs. Work with client HR to determine if changes are required and assist as SME in client execution of organizational changes.
  • Training Strategy Development: Conduct training needs assessment and develop a training strategy and plan. Manage Training Design/Development and work with client resources to ensure effective Delivery.
  • Organizational Readiness: Quantify and baseline organization's current state (ie, readiness to change, skills, culture) from data gathered through a variety of techniques (eg, surveys, workshops, work sessions and interviews). Identify gaps and recommend future state design and actions.
  • User Adoption and Knowledge Transfer: Utilize approaches and methodologies to accelerate users' adoption of new processes and technologies
