SALT are currently hiring for a Service Desk L2 Support Engineer for one of our clients based in Bremerhaven, Germany
Role - Service Desk L2 Support Engineer
Location - Bremerhaven, Germany
Start date - Immediate (maximum 2 weeks)
Duration - 3 months extendable (likely to be 12months+)
Rate - €150 per day all inclusive
Visa - MUST hold a full EU passport.
Language - Basic understanding of German (A2)
Skills:
This role requires you to be part of a technical support giving technical support to the employees of a multinational company. This role is responsible for being local support contact for all Level 2 queries of users and other support teams that require local action at the location, like mentioned below.
- Troubleshooting skills and experience in handling Desktop Hardware issues, telephony connection problems and hardware problems on end user device level.
- Troubleshooting and support the user in handling any IT equipment like laptop, blackberry,
- Troubleshooting skills on VPN connectivity, dial up, wireless Routers, Network connection problems
- Handle services like giving out and track loner device, hand out new hardware by flowing the process, manage your local stock of cable and devices, usb stick
- Support other technical team by follow there instructions and coordinate with them for Changes and Major Incident
- Basic understanding of IT processes (ITIL)
- Knowledge on TCP/IP Networks and Network hardware
