Technical Analyst - JAVA Application - Germany
We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Analyst expert for a global banking organisation to start ASAP for 6 month + extend contract.
Job Description:
1. Expert in Java Web Application Development. In particular- good knowledge of Spring Framework, Java EE, JPA, App Server Architecture and Web Development
2. Prior experience in Core JAVA, J2EE based development teams.
3. Expertise in J2EE technologies: Spring, Java, JSP, JSF, JDBC, Struts.
4. Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
5. Strong knowledge on J2EE online and batch applications.
6. Mandatory Experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, MVC, JSF, Hibernate
7. experience building web applications using Java & J2EE technologies
8. Good DB skills- DB Programming and Optimization. Java Persistence API, Hibernate. MS SQL server and Teradata
9. Good functional knowledge in the area of workflow of daily liquidity reporting process.
10. Will be in charge of - ALM control center (custom Java)- this is a custom Java built application for generating ALM and Risk Reports.
Background and skills-
1. Exposure to reporting tools such as Microstrategy, Cognos
2. Exposure to Teradata
3. data warehousing background in Financial Services
4. Good understanding of relational structures, dimensional data modelling, Structured Query Language (SQL) skills, Data Warehouse and reporting
Should have hands-on working knowledge of following DWH environment-
1. Database- Teradata (SQL/Views/Database Modeling)
2. ETL Tool- Datastage
3. Reporting -Microstrategy & Cognos
Language- German preferred but not mandatory
