Our customer is an international telecommunications company, involved in the R&D of cutting-edge mobile technologies. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Camera/Video Component Tester (f/m)
Project Start: 01.09.2015 (earlier possible)
Project duration: 6 months+
Location: Munich
Task Description:
*Troubleshoot, investigate and root-cause errors on mobile platforms
*Execute daily Test Cases
*Preparation of test reports (including documentation and reporting)
*Extending Test Automation with new test cases written in Perl
*Maintenance and improvement of Test Lab Setup (including detailed work with equipment)
Your Skills:
*Android/Linux development experience (build system, tools, Android Releases)
*Google test suites for Android (CTS, GTS, CTS verifier),
*Test case development (in multimedia areas)
*Test Scripting/evaluation in Perl
*Android application development (-> for developing/extending test applications)
Nice to have Skills:
*Android multimedia SW with focus on camera and video drivers/HAL
*Linux Kernel development and debugging
*domain knowledge in video and/or camera (video codecs, camera testcases, camera image quality testing/assessment)
*Mobile telecommunications experience
Language Skills:
*Fluent English is required for this role for all documentation and meetings
