Monitoring Consultant, IT Operations, German
Monitoring Consultant of an in house derivatives trading architecture
Tasks:
- Review the client's existing IT event monitoring and systems performance tool landscape, with a focus on our derivatives trading architecture
- Compare the tools used by a Securities Exchange, subsidiary of the client
- Review further monitoring environments at the client other than thederivatives trading architecture
- Align with IT application development, IT operations and Market Supervision teams
- Create an approach and a framework for enhancing monitoring mechanisms
- Identify the appropriate alerting thresholds in order to address issues before they lead to production incidents specifically for derivatives trading architecture
- Create an operational manual where these alerts and thresholds are documented.
- Drive implementation of these enhancements in close collaboration with the above mentioned teams specifically for the derivatives trading architecture
Skills:
- Familiarity with IT operations processes and IT operations organisations
- Experience in designing and customising IT event monitoring and systems performance tools
- Ability to plan, manage, and execute mid size projects in an international environment with various stakeholders from business and IT
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, German language skills desirable
