We are looking for a Unix Administrator (f/m) for a complex, international datacenter Environment.Project Environment consists of:
Linux: RedHat .x + SUSE 10.x/11.x
less knowledge in RedHat
VolumeManager: Veritas VxVM 6.x + LVM
Veritas Cluster: 6.x
Hardware: HP Blades/Enclosure + Rack Server + DELL Poweredge R720/R920
Tools: HP-SA (Opsware), HP-SM (i3s), HP-OO (RBA), Quest Vasd, fwbuilder + iptables, SAN-Boot
Applications: Oracle, SAP
Backup: Symantec Netbackup
Networking: bonding, iptables, NFS, SMTP, SSH, FTP,
Development: Phyton Programming, Pearl Programming, Shell scripting
Virtualization: VMware VShpere, general knowledge of VMware
Misc: RHN, chef, fwbuilder
SAN Storage (Netapp), Nearstore
LAN infrastructure
Your Tasks:
UNIX / Linux Administration:
Maintenance, Capacity Planning, Monitoring, Tuning, Consulting, Security
Linux: RedHat .x + SUSE 10.x/11.x
less knowledge in RedHat
Your Profile:
Minimum of 5 to 6 Years of Consulting and Administration Mandatory, Configuration and Support Experience on RedHat 5.x/6.x/7.x and SUSE 10.x/11.x in an advanced Data Center Landscape.
Minimum of 3 to 4 Years of Consulting and Administration Mandatory, Configuration and Support Experience on Veritas Cluster and Veritas Volumemanager 6.x.
Experience in Trouble Ticket System (HP Service Manager) , Knowledge of service management processes based on ITIL, Experience with SLA-oriented way of working, handling ticket system
Development of technical concepts, strategy paper and quality assurances.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to work independent and in a project team.
Fluent English in spoken and written form.
Able to consult on technical designs and new features.
Intercultural experience and work in a cross-cultural team
