Our client, an International market leader are in search of a Build & Release engineer to join their current team just outside of Berlin.
You will be responsible for researching ways to improve the software building process and for sharing production information with Technology teams with focus on providing solutions for builds, releases and controls throughout the software life cycle.
Your requirements:
Full software development life cycle experience working in Agile environments
The candidate must have solid exposure to working effectively in a diverse technical team with minimal supervision
Strong enthusiasm and creativity to solve challenging technical problems
Ability to consistently adapt to new circumstances, and learns quickly when facing new challenges
Strong understanding of the following technologies:
o Familiar with Agile/SCRUM Methodology
o Experienced in programming Java is a must
o Experienced in programming Shell Scripts
o Experience in Phyton or similar is a plus
o Build automation and release tools are also required, including Jenkins, Maven or similar
o Familiar with Atlassian suite (Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence, Crucible et al)
o Experienced with Source Control Systems (SVN, GIT)
o Experience in developing continuous builds for a Continuous Delivery methodology
