Primary assignments will include:
the design, development, support, documentation and verification of Platform SW and Network SW.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & SCOPE:
Relevant experience in the software development process in an Embedded development
environment
Experience in the aerospace industry
Proficiency with working in a VxWorks Real Time operating system/Greenhills (as used in cockpit displays) and C/C++ development environment.
Experience in communication systems.
Programming experience with C, ADA.
Experience using JTAG Emulators and Bus Analyzers (eg MIL-STD-1553)
Experience in requirements generation and validation, allocation and traceability (eg
DOORS)
Disciplined in the use of software versioning control tools and issue tracking tools (eg
Subversion)
Hardware/Software interface development
Low Level Device Driver development and verification
