Business Area

The project's Service Implementation takes care of coordination for introduction of the new Project Releases and liaises with all departments and project teams involved. The activities of the Service Implementation Team are of strong importance for the successful launch of future Project Releases in a seamless manner.

The responsibilities of the Service Implementation team cover the full range of activities for launching new releases starting with the project schedule for rollout over the coordination with all other involved departments and end with the completion of the production introduction. The Service Implementation team is also responsible for organizing the management decision making for production introduction and supports organization of the production introduction weekends.

Task and responsibilities

  • Organisation, execution and documentation of meetings with all impacted line organisations
  • Cross project coordination and planning of release week-end
  • Create and agree transition/migration plan with involved parties
  • Creation of documents related to the simulation and production introduction, eg Data Setup Approach, Migration Approach, Introduction & Fallback Plan etc.
  • Manage cross project dependencies and their impact on project Prisma
  • Co-ordination of all involved internal departments
  • Reporting for different recipients
  • Maintain close relationship management with the involved stakeholders
  • Organize and track the activities of involved departments and project teams for rollout of new releases
  • Elaboration, consolidation and tracking of an activity list for all impacted line and project organisations
  • Track and escalate issues posing a risk for the production introduction
  • Track and support solution of technical and functional issues
  • Coordinate and communicate delivery schedule for new software versions in simulation and production

Mandatory skills and experience

  • Consultant with minimum of 2-years experience in projects involving software transition and/or software rollout
  • Show ability for detailed planning and execution of a software transition
  • Excellent co-ordination and communication skills
  • Mediation and presentation skills
  • Show a structured working method, show analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • General functional knowledge of securities settlement
  • Business proficiency in German and English in speaking and writing
  • Highly motivated and engaging nature, positively assertive
  • MS Office, esp. Excel, Powerpoint

Optional skills

  • General Risk Management knowledge is an advantage
  • MS Project is an advantage
