PMO Analyst/Programme Office Support (Germany)

PMO Analyst required for an initial 3 Month contract working for a large banking client to be based in Germany, Mon-Friday.

Delivery of PMO analysis support services to come in line with our clients Governance structure

Key Skills:

  • Understand the role of a PMO is to provide expert support in terms of consultancy rather than administrative
  • Must show expertise gained in a PM or PMO environment delivering high value programmes or projects
  • Influencing/networking - developing internal and external business relationships and using own knowledge, skills and experience to influence others opinions and actions
  • Ability to juggle priorities, multi- task and flawlessly execute at speed
  • Sound commercial judgment and overall understanding of the Financial Services Industry.
  • Understand and comply with the requirements of Business Change methods, standards and tools

Key Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate the application of Change Management principles for the work stream
  • Assist the PMO Lead in the implementation of the PMO set up
  • Ensure guidelines, procedures and templates are applied in a consistent manner and provide hands-on delivery support to the work streams
  • Overall analysis of work stream activities, ensuring that PM's are on track to deliver to their set scope
  • Analyse and collate project financial information, review and track work stream costs by adopting a forecast based spend method
  • Ensure Change Control have appropriate Impact Assessments carried out in a coordinated manner
  • Coordinate resource management activities in line with Lead PMO requirements
  • Facilitate the creation and update of plans as required by the PMO lead
  • Implement agreed regular progress-reporting mechanisms thereby monitoring the routine progress of the work stream delivery
  • Assist in the preparation of highlight reports and exception reporting
  • Maintain the project library system ensuring that configuration management is followed
  • Ensure RAIDS management and Change Control processes are followed and assist in the analysis of RAIDS
  • Coordinate reviews for QA activities on behalf of the Lead PMO
  • Provide expert support to Steering Committee activities
